"Do Information technology Again" is a song past American singer Pia Mia featuring Chris Chocolate-brown and Tyga. Information technology was released on May 4, 2015, through Wolfpack and Interscope Records. The vocal was written past Mia, Jerry Afemata, George Veikoso, Marc Griffin, Tyga, and the producer Nic Nac. Mia recorded "Do It Over again" in 2013, when she decided to sample J Boog'south 2011 vocal "Let'southward Do Information technology Again" later attending his concert in Guam. Dark-brown and Tyga asked Mia to be included on the song when information technology was played in a studio session in 2014. "Do Information technology Over again" is a pop and R&B song, with a mix of hip hop and electronic dance music genres. The song's lyrics include references to Guamanian civilisation such as Two Lovers Point. Music critics described information technology as a "summer song".

"Do Information technology Again" peaked at number five on the ARIA Singles Nautical chart in Commonwealth of australia and at number eight on the Britain Singles Chart, while also charting at number 71 on the US Billboard Hot 100. The song attained platinum certifications in v countries and appeared on the 2022 year-end charts in Australia and the United Kingdom at positions 53 and 60 respectively. Pia Mia saw her first concert in January 2011, when reggae artist J Boog performed in Guam.[1] She and then recorded "Do It Again" with Marc Griffin and producer Nic Nac in 2013,[2] after beingness inspired past J Boog's concert.[iii] In 2014, after the song finished product, Mia walked into a studio session with Nic Nac, Chris Brown and Tyga, when "Do It Again" was played. Composition and critical reception [edit]

"Do It Once more" is a popular and R&B vocal,[five] [xiv] [15] which mixes genres of hip hop[16] [17] and electronic dance music.[15] [17] Information technology samples J Boog's 2011 song "Let'south Do Information technology Once more",[18] and is considered to exist a "twist" on the track.[1] "Practise It Again" opens with synthesizers that employ a crescendo,[nineteen] as Tyga raps in the first verse before Mia appears to sing 30 seconds into the vocal.[15] Her phonation was consistently undulated to sound "sultry [and] controlled",[19] over a order-infused instrumental.[xv] Brown additionally incorporates a rap poesy.[two]

In Australia, "Do It Again" debuted at number 42 on the ARIA Singles Nautical chart dated July 12, 2015. The vocal peaked at number v on the chart dated August 9, 2015, and charted for 16 weeks.[22] The song was eventually certified platinum by the Australian Recording Manufacture Association (ARIA) on September 5, 2015, for shipping 70,000 copies.[23] "Do Information technology Once more" ranked at number 53 on ARIA's 2022 yr-end nautical chart.[24] In New Zealand, the song debuted at number 29 on the New Zealand Singles Chart, where it reached number 10 and charted for 15 weeks.[25] It was certified platinum by Recorded Music NZ (RMNZ) after sales of 15,000 equivalent-units.[26]

"Do It Once more" debuted at number 67 on the UK Singles Chart dated August 20, 2015. Information technology peaked at number eight on October 2, 2015, and remained on the chart for 28 weeks.[27] The song was ranked at number 60 on the 2022 year-finish nautical chart,[28] and certified platinum by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) for selling 600,000 units on January 27, 2017.[29] In Scotland, "Practise Information technology Once more" bowed at number 15 on the chart dated August 21, 2015, after debuting the previous week at number 52.[thirty] In the United States, the song reached number 71 on the Billboard Hot 100 nautical chart dated August 22, 2015, where information technology charted for 11 weeks.[31] Information technology received a platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for selling 1,000,000 copies on February fifteen, 2017.[32] "Exercise Information technology Again" peaked at number 70 on the Canadian Hot 100 chart dated August 29, 2015, where it charted for 11 weeks.[33]

A lyric video for "Practice It Again" was released with the vocal on May 4, 2015.[34] The video is animated and inspired by the civilization of Guam, with references to artwork and Mia's beginnings to the Chamorro people. It includes latte stones and talaya throwing.[21] An accompanying music video was filmed in Malibu, California, on June three, 2015,[16] [35] and released on June 26, 2015.[36] [37] The video was directed by Colin Tilley,[38] while Kylie Jenner also appeared on ready during production to support the artists.[35] Law Roach was the stylist during the shoot.[39] Mia wore two Guam seal pendants,[forty] while Brown's attire consisted of matching xanthous Dsquared² embroidered jacket and hockney pants, with white Nike Roshe Run shoes.[41] Mia explained to Flaunt in 2022 that filming the music video was a smooth process where "everyone was really having fun", reminiscing that she would "never forget that time".[42] As of May 2021, the music video has over 494 1000000 views on YouTube.[36]
